One Year, One Brilliance | 2025 East China Region (Electronic) Microscopy Academic Exchange Conference Successfully Held

2025-04-30

From April 11th to 14th, 2025, the East China (Electron) Microscopy Academic Exchange Conference was successfully held in Huzhou City, a city where history and technological innovation coexist. As one of the most influential electron microscopy events in East China, it attracted many scientific and technological personnel from higher education institutions, research institutes, and enterprises. During the four-day conference, participants engaged in in-depth communication and exchanges on transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, scanning probe microscopy (including scanning tunneling microscopy and atomic force microscopy), confocal laser scanning microscopy, EDS, EBSD, XPS, microbeam, and other microscopic analysis techniques, and their applications in materials, chemistry and chemical engineering, nanotechnology, biology, medicine, agriculture, forestry, environment, criminal investigation, and commodity inspection. Ningbo Borui Strontium Electron Beam Technology Co., Ltd., a new force in domestic electron microscopy, was invited to participate and gave a presentation on "The Application of High-Speed STEM in Life Sciences."

Dr. Fang Wei, general manager of Borui Strontium, highlighted the company's latest products in his report: the RAVIIS-300 rapid automatic microparticle imaging analysis system (high-speed STEM) and the high-throughput (field emission) scanning electron microscope SEMNova-1000.

The RAVIIS-300 is the first domestic single-beam field emission scanning transmission electron microscope. It achieves a high imaging speed of 2×100M/s, has two channels (bright field and dark field), automatic sample loading, and can perform 7×24 automatic continuous image acquisition. In terms of resolution, the RAVIIS-300 does not pursue the ultimate limit but is positioned at 1nm. The 50kV electron gun not only reduces material costs but also reduces sample damage, ensuring wide application in biological samples.

The RAVIIS-300's unique immersive electromagnetic compound lens system enables quick switching between large and small fields. That is, it allows users to first take a low-resolution image of a large field of view, then switch to a high-resolution image at any point. This technology not only ensures image quality but also greatly improves scanning efficiency. The improved sample platform allows for information tracking during transportation, transfer, and storage. The patented vibration-proof motion platform reduces noise caused by vibrations, thereby improving image resolution. In terms of software, the RAVIIS-300 adds real-time AI processing capabilities, with scanning and image processing performed simultaneously, saving users a significant amount of time.

At Borui Strontium's booth, staff provided detailed explanations of the RAVIIS-300 and SEMNova-1000, allowing visitors to experience firsthand the strong rise of domestically produced electron microscopes.

This exchange conference was a feast of wisdom in electron microscopy. Electron microscopy professionals gathered to revitalize the development of the electron microscopy industry and promote the application of electron microscopy technology in various fields. Borui Strontium, a new force in domestic electron microscopy, will continue to increase investment in research and development to contribute to the prosperity and development of the electron microscopy field.
